Glass Painting.

So you all know that I've recently started glass painting.

My FIRST try.(:

I'm not a pro but to me its OKAY la.

But anywhoos, Nash started painting with me today.(:

And we thought of selling these things.

Candleholders, spice jars, candy jars.

So we're gonna try our luck at PERKIM's Charity Bazaar!

It's worth a shot.;p

We're painting the roses red.

Reunion & Improv.

Today in class we learned to improvise when practicing with a partner.

But here's the catch;

We could only use the sentences from the poems we memorized.

It was funny coz I was paired up with Sumi, and she memorized Amazing Grace.

My poem went like this;

Sadness is blue

It tastes like salt water

And smells like old clothes, cold and unworn.

Sadness is a girl

Running in the night

It sounds like the sobs of pain

And feels like ice.

Here's the situation we were given by the whole class;

Sumi is my mother. I am 17 years old and about to sit for my SPM examination but I'm dating this boy from school.

Sumi doesn't approve of it and she we argue about it because I think he's THE ONE.

Since I'm a teenager and dislike listening to advice from parents, I try to persuade Sumi that the boy is right for me whereas she tries to get me back to my senses.

For our blocking(like stage directing where we are directed on which space on the stage we can use and etc.);

We were allowed to sit and get up three times from our seats.

I was supposed to move as if I was walking away but at the same time, I don't want to walk away because I still love my mother and I wouldn't be so rude to her.

Sumi was to approach me and persuade me to come back. 

I was allowed to raise my voice whereas Sumi was to be soft spoken and motherly.

AND GUESS WHAT?!

WE NAILED IT!!;p

I know it sounds damn easy to you guys and you most probably feel like you're wasting time reading this post, but believe me; it is HARD.

Try and imagine two poems that contrast each other so much but its used as the dialogue.

And we had to do the whole multitasking thing some more.

Hahah oh well, class was fun!!:)

Thasha can really act!! I wish I could act like her.

Maybe I will soon. Heheh.

Just now I followed Mama for dinner at the Commonwealth Club in Damansara for her high school reunion thing.

It was something they had every three months.

It was so cool because Mama knew these people since she was in form 4!

And she's 78 years old this year!!

You do the math!;p

I hope my friendships last this long.

It would be so cool to have a reunion with friends at my old age and reminisce on those nostalgic moments when we were young and vulnerable.

Oh well, got home at 11pm and I was in the mood to camwhore. So here are some pics!

Oh well, I wanted to blog last night but I was too focused on my glass painting.

I dunno how and why, but I'm really addicted to glass painting.
I don't use stencils, I'm no more creative than your pet armadillo, but I love it.

It's the one time I concentrate.
Class tomorrow, I have the flu.
HUARGHHH.

I haven't really memorized my poem choice either.
DIE DIE DIE.

College starts on Monday, can't wait!
But obviously still kinda nervous la.
New college, new people.

Had durians after dinner.
After so long, I get to indulge on the delicious taste of the king of fruits.

This Sunday's Mukhlis' birthday.
Not Mukhlis Badri, Mukhlis my cousin.
But the kids aren't coming back this weekend so I'll just probably call the little munchkin.(:

My nose is blocked right now. SO ANNOYING!!

I'm kinda sleepy, but I'm watching episode 13,14 and 15 of 90210 Season 2.
Very intense.XD

Shop Till You Drop, Baby.

OMG today went to Caffe La Teh and brought Macbook along.
This time, camwhored with Nash AND Mak Yang.
Mak Yang was so funny I swear!

I felt damn tall today when I wore my new maxi dress with my platform flipflop-like slippers.
We went to One Utama for breakfast/lunch/dinner at Sushi Zanmai.
It is and always will be THE BEST!
Starting college next week, hohumm.
Anyways, the sushi was awesome as usual.(:


I bought so many things today!
Seriously kinda regret it.
Okay la maybe not.XD
I got myself a translucent purple MacBook Skin for the laptop.
I also bought a top with a pretty peacock feather print and a long necklace from Forever21.
Then, as if that wasn't already enough, I had to go splurge on a floral printed high waisted skirt at Dorothy Perkins.
Got a plain white tee too.
After that, went to Diva and got a necklace and ring.
Seriously, I swear when I start college cannot shop as teruk as this anymore.
GAHHHHHH!!!!

It was wednesday so we went to Baskin Robbins to have the Wednesday PINK promotion thingy.
Two junior scoops for the price of one.
We had to have something pink on and I didn't.
Luckily I noticed that my earrings were pink.XD
Nash pulak damn funny.
She tried a few flavours, then told the guy that the spoon is pink.
But the guy bagi la anyway.XD
Best thing about it was that the guy didn't give us two junior scoops, he gave us like regular scoops.
Which is bigger!
But he charged the junior scoop price.
Maybe the guy didn't notice. OH WELL!;p


Nash is addicted to the game Fingerzilla on the Adyypods.
It's a game where you tap on buildings and houses to destroy them.
You have to destroy the city as if your finger is Godzilla.
Of all games! HAHA.


After that, we went to the cafe again to fetch Kak Eton.
Went home and fixed on the laptop skin and now my baby is PRETTYYYYY!!!!:D:D


Oh well, it was a tiring day, but we didn't get all the IMPORTANT stuff done yet.
Probably doing all that tomorrow.
I HOPE.


I'm gonna go watch The Simpsons now.

I love my abnormal self.(:

Of Glass Paint & Oil Paint.

Today was a pretty cool day.

Woke up at 2pm because I tidur mati since I didn't sleep the night before.

Read sms from Nash asking to go to her Mom's Cafe at 12.30pm. LOL.

I went there anyways with my camera, hoping to take pics of the dishes for the new menu but we decided to do it tomorrow instead.

So Nash & I went to The Curve to get her art canvas and oil paint.

We went to Creative Kids at Ikano to get the art stuff.

I decided to expand my creative horizons and take up glass painting.

Bought the set of Glass Paint and Outliner.

As we were walking to Ikea to get hotdogs *they're finally backk!!*,

I bought new slippers.

WHOOHOO. Finally!

After eating, I got myself some clear candleholders in two different sizes and some clear spice jars to paint on.

Wanted to have sushi but we also postponed that for tomorrow.

Went back to the Cafe to fetch Kak Eton and since she was having her dinner, we had some drinks.

Used my laptop to webcamwhore.XD

Bought paint brushes for glass painting at the bookshop nearby and headed home.


Didn't have dinner because the Iced Honey Milk was so filling.:D


Started on my glass painting. 
Tried on one glass that we always accidentally get from the caterers.
Not our fault, they just always leave their stuff around!;p


I still shiver when I draw the outlines but I'm getting better.
It is not THAT SIMPLE.
But it's fun to learn!
But I'm still scared about one thing though.
They say we have to bake the glass after painting it so that the paint stays on and doesn't get washed off when we wash the glass.
But won't the heat cause the glass to break?:o
So scared to even try. :(
Maybe I'll try that tomorrow.


Oh well, I gotta sleep soon because tomorrow I'm gonna have to wake up early to go to the cafe!;p

I wish the pain would just stop.

It's Finally Here!

So darlings, it's finally here.

My MacBook!:D

Okay I know this wouldn't be a huge deal for most of you but I am freakishly happy I finally got it!

I feel kinda bad for my brother though.

He ordered his Dell Studio WAAAAYYYY before I ordered the MacBook but mine arrived first.

The estimated date of delivery for his laptop?

28th March.

Sad, I know.

I was so excited about the MacBook arriving that it was hard for me to sleep.

No, I'm not that insane yet so it wasn't only the excitement that kept me up, I wasn't really in the best mood last night and since my problem wasn't resolved yet, I just couldn't seem to shut my eyes.

Well ANYWHOO, the parcel arrived when I was out for lunch at Caffe La Teh so I really couldn't wait to get back home!

Tee hee.

Well, while I was installing the Mac OS X, Affendy and I went to HSC to get a new extension plug socket thingamabob because first of all, the one in our room is now fused, and second of all, we got an additional charger now!

Yeah and OF COURSE who else to call when I got my MacBook but my Bebibottoms Nadya!

We talked like jakuns.

And she was singing.

Practically serenading me on the phone and ignoring a word I said about her being insane and high on crack.

She's not into those things but she might as well be.

That girl is KUHRAYZEEE.

Okay well, besides the fact that I'm super excited and happy about my MacBook,

and that I am finally moving to another house, I'm very excited for the "1 Malaysia Fundraising Charity Bazaar!" organized by the Wanita PERKIM KL Utara members. 

It's gonna be fun because there's gonna be loads of stalls with anything and everything!

You name it, clothes, accessories, food, drinks, handicraft, shawls, cosmetics, they have it all!

Here are the details of the event;

DATE    : 18th April 2010

TIME      : 9am-6pm

VENUE : Pusat Komuniti Bukit Damansara

That's right, everyone!

It's gonna be held at the Bukit Damansara Community Centre/Hall.

I know some people who live around Damansara so please guys, try to come and do your part by contributing to those in need!:D

The coupons are sold at RM50 only per booklet and all proceeds would go to the;

1. PERKIM shelter for the underprivileged.
2. Two charity homes:

• Rumah Nursalam
• Rumah Nurzarah

     3.  All other PERKIM charity-related activities.

PERKIM is a Non-Governmental Organization and is funded solely by the members of the organization itself to support all the charity homes and activities which is why they have come up with this fundraising event to get extra funds to help those in need.

Bear in mind that the members of the organization are mainly made up of ladies, most of them homemakers, who volunteer themselves to help the needy as much as they can.

With your help, they could afford to do their job in helping those people even better.

So bring your friends, your family, your parents, uncles, aunties, grandmothers and grandfathers to this beneficial and rewarding event.

Sleepless Nights.

I didn't sleep last night.
HUARGHHHHH.
I'm so sleepy.
Checked "Order Status" of Macbook on the website and apparently it's at the final stage which says it is with the delivery courier.
It was with them since 9.17am.
Waiting impatiently *coughwtfcough*
Basically today will be an average day.
I can sense it.XD


Before I could go online I tried out different chords to suit my voice for the song "Your Guardian Angel".
And I think I kinda succeeded. BAHAHAH.
Yawning non-stop and tears keep coming out.
So tiredddd.
But cannot sleep, going for lunch at Mak Yang's Cafe.
My god la my brother is still happily wandering his own little dream wonderland.

My heart is beating damn fast because of no sleep.
After lunch, relax a little, the SLEEP!;p


I'm missing a lot of people right now.
Missing my dearest friends.
I miss my first boyfriend.

I know I'm missing him most probably because we had a history together or whatnot.
But somehow I know I still love him.

Since I'm always bored and have nothing to do at home(okay I don't really have a life but still),
