Ahh screw the title. Though I would like to say ONE thing related to it. I've realized that keeping all my secrets to myself and hiding my feelings in front of everyone has led me to lying about my life. Okay whatever, lets not get all emo. Even though I feel hideous, useless, stupid and used in a way. :(
I'm here to talk about my laptop crisis.....NOT. Let's just start off and see where I end.
As you can see, I haven't blogged for a LOOOOONG time. Not only has the long post I have been telling you about been deleted accidentally, my laptop is also giving me many problems. Thank god I have an understanding not-so-little brother who has allowed me to use his computer for the time being. The sad part is, most of my saved files, pictures, songs, bookmarked pages and stuff are all in my laptop. I guess after so many years of serving me with unlimited durations of time has made my laptop tired. Doesn't make sense, I know; but hey, I have a wide range of imagination.(:
Here are a list of things I remembered to blog about:
1. Twilight
One day, I followed Hari to Mid Valley to buy the cloth he needed for prom. Watching Twlight wasn't one of our plans but to kill time, we decided to watch it anyway. I liked it. Really, I do. BUT; it was kinda disappointing. I mean, obviously the book was better. Everytime there's a movie adapted from a book, the book is always better. Honestly, how many of you people who think that the movie sucked can put that thick book into a movie with a duration of 2 hours at the most? C'mon man, the book itself takes quite sometime to read; no matter how engrossed you are in it. No offense la. Just pointing out that even though it was a disappointing movie, I'd give it an "A" for effort. It was kinda nice la in a way.
2. Anwar's Party
The day of Anwar's party, I was pretty much ready for it. The outfit, the present, the accessories and most importantly; the mood. I went to hari's house to get ready at around 5 something when I realized that my dearest maid forgot to pack my green stockings in my bag! I would've packed the bag myself if I weren't helping mom with some stuff around the house. Mark was supposed to meet us at the Bangsar LRT Station before we headed off to Anwar's place. Luckily, Mid Valley was nearby and I could grab a pair of socks at Soxworld before leaving for the party. When we arrived at Anwar's, Michelle was already there, so was Marcia. Nadira arrived with Kavitha the same time we arrived so we said hello to everyone and went inside. The party was awesome. Anwar and his friends did "The Hustle" and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" dance. A few of us joined them when they were doing "The Hustle". Yeah, I actually learned something at a party. The food was good, made some new friends and stuff. It was cool. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I didn't give Anwar his present yet because I didn't wrap it? LOL. Message to Anwar: I'll give you your present the next time I see you.(:
3. Hari Raya Aidiladha.
Went for potluck lunch at Pah Cik's house. Met the relatives after quite some time. Had 2 cows at our house which were slaughtered and divided for the "Orang Asli" that mom's Organization was sponsoring. The cows were hard to get out of the truck. They made funny funny noises. LOL. Anywhoo, we ate the daging korban in the end when mom's friends made beef soup. Mmmm goood.(:
4. PROM.
Prom was AMAZING; my feelings? Not so great.=(
Everything about prom was fantastic. Except how I felt that night. I hated how I looked, I hated the fact that I didn't have a date, I hate the fact that I was feeling like that. LOL. But still, I was happy that I got to enjoy prom with my closest friends who I love ever so dearly. The prom committee did an awesome job in making the prom a success. A huge THANK YOU to them!:D
Everything went well. But knowing me; the fast beat dancing was the best part of all. I pitied and was worried about Gan at first. He was feeling dizzy and had a headache coz of his contacts. We followed him to go get some air outside ; PLUS there was no panadol in sight. Anywhoodles, I dragged him to the dancefloor coz to me, dancing takes your mind off whatever you're feeling or thinking about at the moment. Apparently it worked somehow. He dances really good while having a headache; no kidding! Oh, congrats to the people who received awards that night.(:
5. AFTER prom.
This is not DIRECTLY after prom. And neither is this about an after party or something. This is about me, Syaza and Mira's bold idea of going out for a walk at 3am. We were walking out of Renaissance; 3 girls who were clueless on their next destination. A Korean lady approached us and told us that she was in KL for one day and asked if she could join us to wherever we were going. We were quite scared at first but agreed that it was okay for her to tag along. Her name was Bora Kim and she seemed nice; but we were still cautious about her actions. She decided to go to the cafe in Concorde where we decided to go to as well since there were scary-looking men outside. We ordered a few drinks each and Bora ordered a large portion of Fish and Chips. Watching to much television got us to assuming that we would be her victims to pay for her food in the end. She told us a little about herself and we found out that she was 26 and a elementary school teacher. Suddenly, this drunk old malay guy stood behind my chair and this is more or less what happened:
Drunkard : How are you girls?
*Silence*
Drunkard : I asked you a question. How are you girls??!
Us Girls : Fine.
Drunkard : So you're fine, you're fine, you're fine and you're fine?! (points at each one of us)
Us Girls : Hmm.
Drunkard : You think I'm trying to be funny is it??! All I asked you was one question. I'm not trying to be funny, ok? I have my friends over there, ok? I'm hungry. And I want to eat before I go to sleep, OK?
Us girls : K.
*Drunkard leaves.*
FREAKAYYY. Anywhoo, Mira, Syaza and I got sleepy so we decided to pay for our drinks and head back to Renaissance. And you would never have guessed this but Bora told us that she would pay for our drinks!:D
Thanks, Bora. We walked back with Syaza and I holding umbrellas while Mira had her taser. Some stupid ass guys did the awul rempit calling sound and asked us if we wanted a ride but we ignored the. IDIOTS. =.="
Went back to the room and lepak with Nadira since she woke up. Went to Mira and Syaza's room and ended up hanging out at Ozair, Sarkaaj, Saveen, Rashid, Julius, Kok, Jun Cheng, Wai Hoe and Ganesh's room. Dunno if that's all but yeah, we went back to the room at 6.30 and TIDURRR. It's also quite funy how I only got to talk to a few people only after prom. As in I haven't even talked to them in school before, but talked to them after prom. LOL. Nevertheless, they are still nice and pretty cool people. The next day, we checked out at about 1pm and headed home.(:
6. Penang
Okay so Mama, Popo Aliya, Aunty Mariam and I went to Penang yesterday for our "expensive dinner". Well, here's the thing, one of Mama's company was celebrating their 45th Anniversary so they decided to organize a special dinner for the company. It was an expensive dinner because we had to pay for return tickets Kl-Penang-KL plus hotel room lagi. LOL. Well it was kinda nice for a company event. Leonard Tan was FUNNYY. AND gila talented! Mama and Aunty Mariam was sitting at the VIP table so I sat with her sister. Leonard sang to her. LOL.
The next day, we woke up EARLY coz we were gonna eat breakfast early and check out early since we were going sight seeing. Hahah we didn't manage to get mcuh sight seeing done, but shopping; YES. Last minute also got laa. Don't playplay mann. We needed 2 extra trolley bags to pack what we shopped for. Ate at this fancy pishposh restaurant called ThirtyTwo at The Mansion. Sedap WOOO. Carrot soup, lasagne de something i forgot how to spell, and butter and bread pudding. Mmmmm. Aunty Saisunee and Aunty Angela were the ones who invited us for lunch and I got to try a bit of Aunty Saisunee's Toffee Cake. SEDAPPP. Anywhoos, went to the office and looked around.
Seriously speaking, i like the houses in penang. CANTIKKKKK. I wish KL had houses like those.
We reached the airport, checked in and asked for 2 wheelchairs for Mama and Popo Aliya. Boarding time was at 3.50pm, but the wheelchairs never came even at 3.40 when we already walked to the gate. Blablabla yaddayaddayadda, sat next to 2 minahs in plane. They were being so stupid. I was reading Eclipse and they were looking and complaining in Malay as if i tak paham. BODOH. I called the steward and asked for a drink; in MALAY. Amek kau! They shut their traps all the way to KL. I did get my peace and quiet. :D
Reached there, said bye to Aunty Mariam. Mak Yang was stuck in a jam so we waited for about 30 mins and she arrived.
THAT was nice. HAHAH. I let out everything I've been wanting to post.(:
Penang was just a plus though.
BTW,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIRA!!!!<3
